MOO cards

I found out the other day that MOO offers free sample packs where you can get 10 cards with your own designs. Hehehee! Of course, I had to make a batch to see. As each card can have a different image, I thought my samples would make the perfect little portfolio that I can carry around and show people when they ask me, 'So what sort of jewellery do you make?'

They arrived last Friday (4 days from order) and are soooo pretty =D

A completely free pack comes with a MOO logo band on the image side but you can choose for them to be logo-free for a small fee. As the shipping is also included in this offer, I felt it was a fair deal. Very happy with the result ~♥~

Mini presents

One of the many things I love about shopping online is that, every time a package comes through the letter box, it feels like Christmas to me. Whether it's books or clothes, new supplies or actual gift items, I get excited when the parcels arrive and I get to open and unwrap my latest purchase. What makes it even nicer is if the sender has gone all out in the presentation - it feels even more like opening a present.

My latest supply order from miandmisupplies arrived this morning and I was very pleasantly surprised by their beautifully colour coordinated packaging. Supplies usually come only in simple self-seal polythene bags, so I wasn't expecting this at all. The purple and yellow even continued inside with a yellow gift box underneath the purple tissue paper. It was a really lovely touch, made even better because the actual beads are adorable.

Woolie head

The thing I love about winter is that you get to wrap up in layers of warm jumpers and soft woolly things, thick socks and furry mittens (also white snow, Christmasy smells and presents, but more on that later).

I love a cosy woolly hat when the winds turn frosty. Which is why I'm like a kid in a sweet shop when browsing online handmade shops like Etsy and Folksy because there are wonderful knitters out there. I got this

Purple cable flower hat from aknit4allseasons as modeled by old BoBo. And I love it!

I bought something else from her but I can't talk about it yet as it's going to be someone's Christmas gift... ;P

Soap Delights

My latest purchase arrived yesterday morning. I impulsed bought it as soon as I saw it because it was just so beautifully presented. Here is the delightful Turkish Delight from Soaphora, a UK based seller (hurray!).

It smells absolutely gorgeous and I almost don't want to open it as it will spoil the cute packaging. Can't wait to try the others in her range, especially with yummy names like Banana Bread and Mango Smoothie.
